Our Work
Commercial Aerial Production Work
Drone Genius works as a specialty aerial unit for productions that need more than a licensed pilot and a camera in the sky. The work spans cinematic aerial production, FPV camera movement, live-event and broadcast support, marine production, music videos, architectural view capture, developer visualization, 360 virtual tours, and backplate photography across Miami and Florida.
This is the proof hub for projects we can discuss publicly. The goal is simple: give producers, agencies, developers, architects, and visualization studios a clean way to see the level of work, the production judgment, and the kind of clients that trust Drone Genius when the aerial work has to hold up in a real campaign, broadcast, sales-gallery, or brand environment.
Featured Case Study
Art Basel Miami Beach began as a focused FPV assignment inside the Miami Beach Convention Center and grew into a multi-year content production relationship. The public proof includes official Art Basel channel pieces, fair-floor drone tours, artist and sector coverage, and brand-approved video work across 2022, 2023, and 2024.
That case study is the first page in this section because it shows the real value of the company: controlled movement in a complex venue, coordination around art, people, brand standards, timing, safety, and footage that can live on a global client's own channels.
Production Lanes
Film, Commercial + Brand Campaigns
For commercials, campaign films, music videos, and branded content, the aerial unit has to match the language of the production. Sometimes that means Inspire 3 with the X9 Air and a controlled dual-operator camera move. Sometimes it means a smaller FPV aircraft moving through a space. Sometimes it means keeping the shot simple because the edit needs polish, not noise.
Relevant proof lanes include British Airways, Michael Kors, Miami Marlins, ESPN / Marvel, Hilton / McLaren, Nissan, Brita, music-video work, and general commercial production.
FPV Camera Movement
FPV is powerful when it earns the shot. Drone Genius uses different FPV aircraft sizes for different routes: whoop-style rigs for tight interior movement, micro FPV with O4 Air Unit Pro for compact controlled paths, and faster racer-style setups for exterior speed, boat chases, or building-dive style shots when the safety envelope supports it.
The goal is not to make FPV feel extreme. The goal is to make the camera move feel inevitable.
Broadcast, Live Events + Sports
Large events and broadcast-adjacent work need planning before the aircraft ever launches. Airspace, venue restrictions, timing windows, client monitoring, safety lines, backup aircraft, and communication with the production team all affect whether the shot is usable.
Relevant proof lanes include Rolling Loud live-stream work from 2022, 2023, and 2024, the Rolling Loud movie coming October 2026, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show coverage on Fox Sports, Miami Marlins, Good Morning America Boat-ins, Art Basel, and live-event production work across South Florida.
Marine + Yacht Production
Marine aerial work is its own production environment. Boats move, wind shifts, water reflects, launch points are limited, and the best angle may only exist for a few seconds. Drone Genius has marine and waterfront proof across Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Fox Sports, Raymarine, Good Morning America Boat-ins, Miami Boat Show, yacht work, and waterfront commercial campaigns.
Architecture, Developers, 360 + Arch Viz
Developers, architecture firms, and visualization studios need more than attractive aerial stills. They need structured deliverables: stitched aerial 360s, NSWE view extractions, RAW backplate capture, navigable virtual-tour links by floor or unit location, time-of-day planning, and plates that match the rendering or sales-gallery brief.
Relevant proof includes work for developer and visualization clients including 13th Floor, Two Roads, PMG, Fortune, SHVO, Binyan, DBOX, Boundary UK, Foster + Partners, Edition Residences, and related South Florida development work.
Construction Documentation
Construction progress documentation belongs here as a supporting developer service, not the lead brand position. Drone Genius is open to recurring site documentation, lender reporting, GC updates, and long-running progress capture when the client relationship is aligned with developer, infrastructure, or commercial production needs.
How We Work Before The Shoot
The strongest aerial work usually happens before the aircraft is armed. Pre-production may include Zoom calls, creative briefs, previz, scouting, airspace checks, authorization requests, FAA planning, venue coordination, delivery specs, camera workflow decisions, and monitoring options for clients on set or remote.
On production days, clients can review with a director's monitor, follow the brief through a dedicated aerial team, or use remote monitoring when the scope supports it. Backup aircraft are part of the production mindset because downtime on a high-end shoot is more expensive than planning properly.
Camera System Judgment
Most clients know they want a drone. Fewer know which camera system protects the final image.
Inspire 3 is often the right choice for polished hero frames, repeatable moves, ProRes delivery, lens choice, dual-operator framing, and shots that need to feel directed. FPV is the right choice when the camera needs proximity, speed, transitions, or immersive movement. Mavic-class aircraft still have a place when the brief calls for a compact tool, fast deployment, or a smaller footprint.
The aircraft choice should serve the final image, not the invoice.
Selected Public Proof
Rolling Loud: live-stream and aerial production across 2022, 2023, and 2024, with a restrained public mention of the Rolling Loud movie coming October 2026.
Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show / Fox Sports: marine and broadcast coverage tied to one of Florida's most important yacht and boat-show environments, with work dating back to 2018.
British Airways: a controlled FPV fly-through built as a commercial camera move, not a stunt.
Michael Kors: luxury brand production proof where tone, polish, approvals, and visual consistency matter as much as the flight path.
Developer, architecture, 360, and backplate capture: proof from developer and visualization work involving firms including 13th Floor, Two Roads, PMG, Fortune, and SHVO.
